Blackhand Gorge Kayak Tour & Tube Float

Pea Ohana Watersports is making the Blackhand Gorge totally tubular on July 27th & July 28th for a river tubing experience through this scenic and peaceful landscape. The float will start at Brownsville Road Bridge to Toboso Road Bridge.  This float is 4.1 miles long and timing depends on water levels.

Enjoy a kayak trip down the Licking River through the scenic Blackhand Gorge State Nature Preserve on July 27th & July 28th this paddle starts at Brownsville Road Bridge in Newark, OH and finishes at Toboso Rd. Bridge for a 4.1 mile paddle.

  • Maximum Weight Limit 250 lbs for kayaks.

  • Minimum Height 4 ft. (48 in.)

  • The minimum age is 8 years old.

  • All minors are required to have a guardian or parent signed waiver.

  • Ages 8-15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Cancellation Policy

90% refund if canceled 72 hours before activity. 50% refund if canceled 24 hours before

activity. 25% refund if canceled less than 24 hours before the rental time.
