Should I Make A Reservation In Advance or Can I Just Show UpYes, reserve your tickets at peaohana.com to save time before you arrive this also lets us know to expect you and have your equipment ready! Walk ups are permitted on the weekends, but are based upon availability. Please see our cancellation policies.

What Time Do We Need To Arrive?You need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled trip time. Please allow yourself plenty of time for your trip! The shuttle could leave without you if you are not checked in at least 15 minutes prior to trip departure time.

What Should I Wear On The River?We recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you are ok getting wet. Flip flops and sandals without backs are not recommended.

Where Do I Park My Car?We have lots of parking at our location. There are local lots and street parking available. Please do not park in the lots marked for Muddy Misers Restaurant. We will transport you to the drop off spot and you will arrive back at the Boathouse where you will unload at our dock.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?90% refund if canceled 72 hours before activity. 50% refund if canceled 24 hours before activity. 25% refund if canceled less than 24 hours before the rental time.

Can I Bring My Own Tube Or Kayak?Yes, you can bring your own kayak, we offer a transportation shuttle that will take you back to the starting point. We do NOT however offer self-provided tube transportation.

Do You Have Waterproof Cell Phone Cases?Yes, we do have waterproof cell phone cases and other dry accessories for purchase.

Can I Bring My Dog?At this time, no pets are permitted on the river.

Can I Take A Cooler?Yes, you may bring a cooler and rent a tube to put it in. We have limited quantities of ice and water available for purchase. Disposable coolers (Styrofoam) are not permitted on the river and absolutely no glass. We do not check the content of your coolers.

How Long Is The Float?The time length of the float will vary based on the speed of the river that day, on average it will be between 1.5 to 3.5 hours. Kayak times will also vary based on boater’s efforts but will typically be between 1.5 to 3 hours. River conditions change daily and can effect the length of your trip, Pea Ohana does not guarantee time of your trip.

Is There A Weight, Height, Or Age Limit?The minimum age is 8 years old for all Pea Ohana Watersports experiences. Minimum Height is 4 ft (48 in.). Manufacturer maximum weight limit of 250 lbs for kayaks and paddleboards. Tubing does not have a set weight limit.

Do I Have To Be Able To Swim?We recommend you’re able to swim before floating. We offer life jackets for free upon request. Kayak rentals are required to have life jackets.

What Should I Do With My Keys And Personal Items While I’m On The Water?Without protection you risk losing personal items in the river. We offer waterproof bags for purchase in our boathouse shop. We also have a limited supply of lockers available for $5 rental.

Is There Somewhere We Can Picnic?Yes, at Restoration Park (South of the Boathouse), before or after floating. We are very conscience regarding trash. Please be mindful to pick up all trash.

Do You Have Restrooms and Changing Rooms?Yes, located inside our boathouse.

Do I Need A Waiver?Yes, everyone will need to sign a waiver. If you are a minor or if you are with a minor, a guardian signed waiver is required.

What Happens If It Rains?We tube and kayak rain or shine. However, we close during thunder and lightning as well as fast river flows. If you are on the river in inclement weather, get off the river to the closest shore.

How Can I Gauge My Time Or Know Where I Am?There are mile markers on the river. Our location has its own dock and clearly marked “BOATHOUSE” on the building.

Do You Allow Minors Without The Presence Of An Adult?Minors under the age of 16 must be in the presence of an adult. All minors are required to have a guardian or parent signed waiver.

Are There Retail Places To Stop For Food And Restrooms On The River Trips?There are no restrooms or restaurants along the trip.

Who Has To Wear Lifejackets?Children 10 and under and non-swimmers MUST wear their life jackets on tubes. Everyone must have a lifejacket on kayak trips.

What Do We Do If There Is An Emergency?If it is a serious medical emergency call 911.

Are There Group Rates?If you have a group of 20 or more please call us at (740) 297-7898 to discuss rates.

Where Do I Get Dropped Off and Picked Up? (Regular Shuttle)You will arrive at the Boathouse to check in. From there we will shuttle you to Dillon Falls where you will be dropped off. You float all the way back to the Boathouse and unload where you started!
